The partnership agreement on the framework of EU funds available to Hungary in the 2014-2020 EU budgetary period were signed on September 11, and the operative programmes outline the details and concrete measures.
Altough the Brussels commission made more than a thousand remarks on the government’s seven operative programmes, Zsigmondné Vitályos said, the government decided to publish tenders from the first week of October.
In the partnership agreement, Hungary received the approval of Brussels for the possibility of subsidising food processing, after sharp disagreements in an earlier stage of talks, the state secretary said.
Another success for Hungary, in spite of original objections of the Commission, was an agreement on subsidising the development of local roads which connect to international motorways, she said. The commission wanted to help SMEs with loans only, but the partnership agreement now allows for grants as well, the state secretary added.
