Confucius Institute and Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade also signed a memorandum of understanding, which stipulates the instituteʼs role in strengthening Hungarian-Chinese tourism, education and cultural ties.
“Countries wishing to be strong these days cannot bypass relations with China,” Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said, noting that the issue of Hungarian-Chinese relations is not subject to party politics.
