In the first two months of this year, domestic sales prices fell by 3.9% and export sales prices by 0.6%, and as a result, industrial producer prices as a whole fell by 1.7% compared to the same period of last year, KSH reported.

According to KSH, manufacturing prices dropped by 4.3% in February as compared to the previous year, and prices in electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply, representing significant weight, by 6.3% following a decrease of world market prices.

In terms of domestic sales, out of the end-use groups of the producer branches of industry, prices dropped by 7.3% year-on-year in February in energy and intermediate producer branches, largely due to price drops in energy producer branches, and prices rose by 2.6% in capital and by 0.4% in consumer goods producer branches, KSH added.
