The Private Healthcare Professional Coordination Body has been set up with the involvement of the Ministry for National Economy, the Healthcare State Secretariat of the Interior Ministry, the Office of the Surgeon General at the National Public Health Center, the Consumer Protection Authority, the Hungarian Insurers Association, and the healthcare section of the Confederation of Hungarian Business (VOSz).

The body will coordinate regulatory and quality assurance efforts, propose rule changes where needed, promote a transparent and data-driven monitoring system, and reinforce consumer protection and patients’ rights.

It will also act as a permanent platform for dialogue between regulators, insurers, and healthcare providers.
