Local governments and employers can apply for the tender, the ministry announced in a statement issued last week.
Applications can be submitted until September 30. The announcement of results is expected in November.
Cycling is not just a leisure activity, but a key tool in greening transport, as it helps to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, the statement noted.
It is an useful tool for lowering air and noise pollution, as well as reducing traffic jams and parking difficulties, the ministry explained.
