Slovenia's GDP Grows in Q1

Slovenia's economy expanded by a real 0.7% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2023, data released by the Ljubljana-based Statistical Bureau of Slovenia (SURS) show.
Domestic expenditure decreased by 4.4% year-on-year in the first quarter as changes in inventories had a negative impact, while household consumption expenditure went up by 2.1%.
Gross fixed capital formation grew by 1.4% year-on-year in January-March.
Exports increased by 1.9% and imports decreased by 3.8%. In the fourth quarter of last year, Slovenia's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 0.2% year-on-year.
