This was the lowest reading since December 2021, as prices softened mainly for food & non-alcoholic beverages (7.8% vs 9% in October), housing & utilities (5.2% vs 5.8%), restaurant & hotels (10.1% vs 11.2%), and furnishings, household equipment & routine household maintenance (6.2% vs 7.4%).
Additionally, transport costs decreased by 0.2% (vs 1.4%), largely due to the continued reduction in fuel prices. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.2% in November, matching market forecasts and the rate observed in October.
