Serbia Domestic Producer Prices Rise in August

Serbia's industrial producer prices on the domestic market rose by 2.5% year-on-year in August, after growing by an annual 0.5% in July, the Belgrade-based Central Statistical Office (RBS) said on Tuesday.
Cost for production of water supply, waste management increased 11.9% (vs 12.6% in July) and producer prices in the utility sector rose by 10.6% (vs 12.8).
Additionally, producer prices for manufacturing added 1% (vs 0.9%) and producer prices in mining & quarrying drop 12.1% (vs –13.9% in July).
On a monthly comparison basis, the industrial producer price index (PPI) on the domestic market went up by 0.8% in August, after increasing by 0.2% July.
