Sales of McDonald's Restaurants Operator in Hungary up 43%

Net sales revenue of Progress Étteremhálózat, which runs McDonald's fast-food restaurants in Hungary, rose 43% to HUF 73.6 billion last year, the company said, responding to a query by MTI.

Last year, 14 McDonald's restaurants were added to the chain's local network. Another 21 restaurants were renovated.

The 112 McDonald's restaurants in Hungary serve over 70 million guests a year and employ around 7,900 people. 

Local companies supply 38% of the restaurant's base materials, delivering over 1,100 tonnes of salad and vegetables, almost 3 million eggs, and 3,100 tonnes of poultry a year.
