Total assets of listed holding company Opus Global stood at HUF 1.073 trillion at the end of 2023, up 3% from a year earlier, an earnings report published ahead of an annual general meeting shows.

The balance sheet total was lifted by organic growth as the company made no significant acquisitions in 2023.

Opus noted that its assets in the energy sector accounted for 41pc of the balance sheet total, while assets in industrial production made up 25% and assets in the farming and food sector 21%. Assets in tourism accounted for 11% of the total.

The value of Opus's property, plants, and equipment was practically flat at HUF 486.7 bln.

Long-term liabilities increased 11% to 416.1 bln.

Opus's after-tax profit doubled to HUF 44.9 bln.

Earnings per share came to HUF 67.

The agenda for Opus's AGM, scheduled for April 4, shows the company's board will propose payment of a HUF 6.7 bln dividend on last year's earnings.
