Montenegro jobless rate edges down in January

Montenegro's unemployment rate edged down to 24.24% at the end of January from 24.73% recorded in the previous month, news portal SeeNews reported citing data from the country's Employment Agency.

The number of unemployed persons grew 18.9% on the month to 56,233 at the end of January 2021, according to the statistical office, Monstat.

At the end of January 2021, the unemployment rate in Montenegro stood at 20.39%.
