According to the announcement, in the second quarter, the average net income of 19-29-year-olds increased by 7% compared to the previous quarter, to HUF 204,000.

This means that this group’s average net income exceeded HUF 200,000 for the first time in the history of the index, the report noted.

In the case of young people with an income – who make up nearly 90% of the demographic – the average was HUF 231,000.

Full-time employees were characterized by an amount of HUF 309,000, and those with a salary above the minimum wage reported an average of HUF 360,000.
