The natural population loss was 35,367 people in January-September 2024, compared with 29,024 in the same period of 2023.
Fully 58,220 children were born between October 2023 and September 2024, 10% less than in the same period 12 months earlier.
Altogether, 93,587 people died between October 2023 and September 2024, 0.2% less than in the year before.
There were 8.1 live births and 13.1 deaths per thousand inhabitants in the first nine months.
