It marked the third consecutive month of producer inflation, with prices climbing at the same pace for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning (at 4.2%) and water supply (at 9.2%).

Meanwhile, the manufacturing prices showed no growth for the second straight month.

By contrast, producer prices continued to fall for mining and quarrying (-1.9% vs -1.8%).

On a monthly comparison basis, producer prices dropped by 0.3%, following a 1.2% decline in the previous period.
