Business Assoc Gauge Shows Little Change in Business Sentiment

Business association Vosz's measure of business confidence fell to 55 points in the third quarter from 56 in Q2, Ákos Kozák, the co-founder of the Balance Institute, which helps prepare the index, said on Thursday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Energy prices are no longer a "hot topic", but payment morale remains an issue as concerns are raised about chains of debt, Kozák said.

The index, which moves on a scale of 0 to 100 points, is based on responses from over 400 businesses.
