Average net earnings climbed at a faster pace, reaching HUF 509,200, up 12.0% compared to the same month a year earlier. Regular average gross earnings, excluding bonuses and one-off payments, stood at HUF 691,300, representing a 10.0% annual increase.

By sector, regular gross wages averaged HUF 683,500 in the business sector, HUF 703,400 in the budgetary sector and HUF 731,000 in the non-profit sector. Wage growth in the public and non-profit sectors outpaced the private sector, supported by pre-scheduled pay rises.

Adjusted for inflation, real earnings increased by 10.5%, as consumer prices rose by 1.4% over the same period.
