Some 66 people died yesterday due to COVID-related causes, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic to 44,961.
The number of recovered persons has reached 1,672,699, and the number of active infections now stands at 106,429.
A total of 2,205 patients infected with coronavirus are hospitalized, 90 of them are on ventilators.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,399,894, of whom 6,181,814 have already had their second vaccination and 3,831,952 have already had their booster jabs.
