Antenna Hungária is expanding its digital terrestrial television offering from October 1, adding 13 channels with the launch of a third DVB-T multiplex, CEO Jean-Francois Fenech said at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.

With the launch of the multiplex, Antenna Hungária’s offering will increase to 31 channels.

Antenna Hungária expects the number of people who use its MinDig TV digital television service to double this year to 350,000. Numbers are set to rise 40-50% around the winter holidays, both for people who use the free service as well as for those who use the pay service.

Almost 250,000 people use the free MinDig TV service and 37,000 use the pay service.
