The majority of Hungarian parents introduce their children to the magic of the cinema between the ages of five and seven, reveals a joint representative survey conducted by market researchers Etele Cinema and Opinio, as reported by profitline.hu.

This initial cinema experience is crucial, as it sets the tone for future movie outings and creates lasting memories.

A successful first cinema trip for children hinges on several factors. The selection of movie is paramount, however, it is just one part of the equation. The environment of a family-friendly theater can significantly enhance the experience. Furthermore, having a favorite snack and a soft drink is also deemed important by the survey.

The survey highlights that half of Hungarian parents with young children (aged 4-10) have taken their youngest to the cinema at least once in the past year. For many families, cinema visits are a recurring activity, with a quarter of these families going to the cinema three to four times annually.

Financial considerations are also an important aspect of family cinema trips. On average, families tend to spend a maximum of HUF 5,000 per person per visit., the report revealed.
