Hungary’s State Debt Management Centre (ÁKK) announced on Friday it had mandated Daiwa Securities and Nikko Citigroup to organize a JPY(Japanese yen) 25 billion issue of 7-year, fixed-rate samurai bonds. The bonds are expected to be priced and issued in the first half of March 2006. ÁKK said it would use the proceeds from the issue to pay off maturing debt.
