The trade surplus reached EUR 1.185 bln, as the surplus in trade of goods came to EUR 378 mln and the surplus in trade of services stood at EUR 807 mln, state news wire MTI writes.
The primary income balance showed a deficit of EUR 1.039 bln, as investors repatriated EUR 667 mln from direct investments.
The balance of capital transfers from the European Union stood at negative EUR 124 mln for the month.
An amalgamation of the monthly data shows Hungary’s current account had a surplus of EUR 1.832 bln for the second quarter.
The trade surplus reached EUR 4.187 bln, as the surplus in trade of goods reached EUR 1.757 bln and the surplus in trade of services came to EUR 2.43 bln.
The primary income balance showed a deficit of EUR 1.775 bln as EUR 2.021 bln was repatriated from direct investments.
