Bosnia end-2021 foreign debt rises

Bosnia and Herzegovina's foreign debt totaled BAM 9.698 billion (EUR 5 billion) at the end of 2021, up from BAM 8.663 billion a year earlier, according to a report by Seenews.
The external debt of Bosnia's Federation showed BAM 5.422 billion at the end of December, while the same of the Serb Republic entity reached BAM 4.164 billion, the Finance Ministry said in a report.
The foreign debt of Brcko district amounted to BAM 48.14 million.
The Federation and the Serb Republic are the two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Brcko is a self-governing administrative unit in northeastern Bosnia which is part of both the Federation and the Serb Republic.
