In order to comply with related European Union rules, the excise tax on tobacco products is also expected to rise to 29% by the end of 2017, the state secretary said, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Tállai said that changes are expected to the personal income tax as well as the value added tax in line with the Hungarian government’s commitment to helping families.
