In addition to the regional award, OTP Group members received 12 national awards in eight countries. The recognitions covered performance in retail and corporate banking, ESG, corporate social responsibility, SME services and mortgage lending.
In Hungary, OTP Bank was recognized in three categories: Best Bank, Best Corporate Bank and Best ESG Bank.
The Best Bank in Hungary award is Euromoney’s main universal banking recognition. It assesses financial performance as well as customer service standards, product and service development, innovation, and the effectiveness of a bank’s long-term growth and market strategy.
OTP Group’s subsidiaries also received a number of awards across the region. DSK Bank in Bulgaria was named Best Retail Bank, while OTP Banka d.d. in Croatia received the award for Best Bank for Corporate Social Responsibility.
OTP Bank S.A. in Moldova was named Best Corporate Bank. CKB Bank in Montenegro received the awards for Best Retail Bank and Best Bank for Corporate Social Responsibility.
In Serbia, OTP Banka Srbija was named Best Bank for SMEs and Best ESG Bank. OTP Banka Slovenia received the Best Bank award in Slovenia, while Ipoteka Bank in Uzbekistan was named Best Mortgage Bank.
Euromoney’s awards are based on comparable performance indicators, detailed submissions and independent professional assessment.
