MKB Bank, Takarékbank to Hold Bank Holidays as Merger Finishes

MKB Bank and Takarékbank will hold full and partial bank holidays between April 27 and May 2 as the lenders complete their merger and transform into MBH Bank, Magyar Bankholding, which is coordinating the tie-up, said on Wednesday.

Some banking services may be available for limited periods on the days as technical transitions take place.

The merger of MBK Bank and Takarékbank will close on April 30, creating Hungary's second-biggest commercial lender.
