Difficulties with Apeh’s electronic tax returns

Electronic filing system of tax returns is still not working perfectly. According to the original schedule, another one million enterprises should join the system in eight weeks.

The system currently has 51,000 users. However, the National Tax Office (Apeh) is publishing new, corrected versions of the filing software every week. Because of that, companies often have to do their tax returns again. Apeh promised to publish the terms by which the tax returns are revised on its homepage back in September, but they are still not available online, chairman of the National Association of Tax Advisors and Bookkeeping Service Providers, László Zara complained. Moreover, Finance Ministry still did not finalize the group of companies that should join the system in January. (Napi Gazdaság)
