Today Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány will visit Frankfurt and London to inform and reassure investors and credit rating institutions about Hungary’s macro-economic situation. He will be accompanied by Finance Minister János Veres and Economy Minister János Kóka, as well as Gordon Bajnai, head of the National Development Agency and Tibor Draskovics, president of the State Reform Committee. This direct and personal way of convincing the market might well prove useful since market players do take subjective elements into account when making their decisions, said OTP Bank Rt leading analyst Tamás Vojnits. The official program of the meetings is the presentation of government program New Balance and the mid-term reform plans. (NG, Nv)
