He explained that, in recent years, the utilization of solar energy has increased to an unprecedented extent in Hungary, and the country already has a solar capacity of more than 1.5 times the capacity of the Paks nuclear power plant.
With the solar capacity increase between March and September 2022, taking into account the current sanctioned gas prices, Hungary saved EUR 123 million, which corresponds to the energy supply of about 63,000 households, Steiner said.
