According to Dávid Hollósi currently, only 100,000-130,000 hectares of the 210,000 hectares of irrigable land are utilized for irrigation.
This contributes significantly to observed yield fluctuations of up to 20%.
To address this, more than HUF 65 billion has been allocated for irrigation development projects.
Applications for investments up to HUF 200 million are already open and those exceeding this amount become available from March 4 this year.
