Corn and sunflower stocks have been in forced ripening in more places and have begun to dry, but no significant rain is expected for the time being.
The weather has been dry for most of the past week, and in the incoming week weather fronts will only bring significant precipitation to a small area in the southwest, west and northeast – 20-30 millimeters in some places – but a significant part of the country remained almost completely dry.
The amount of precipitation in the last 30 days is significantly below the average throughout the country. The deficit is mostly 20-70 millimeters.
The upper half-meter layer of the soil is extremely dry in most of the country.
