During the summer seasonal food chain inspection, 268 distributors and 311 lots of watermelons were inspected by the fruit and vegetable quality inspectors of the Nébih and county government offices.
These inspections took place in the second half of July.
Based on the experience of the inspections, the vast majority of distributors offered Hungarian watermelons.
Most of these offerings met the quality standards and were traceable.
