Geonczeol said that the committee already has already received HUF 596 million in funding from a wine-marketing tax of HUF 5-10 per liter and has an additional HUF 320 million in allocated resources.

Geonczeol noted that he has presented Rural Development Minister Sándor Fazekas with a proposal to restructure Hungary’s wine-marketing system, adding that the proposal includes the establishment of an operative wine-marketing office.
