Hungary’s state lottery company, Szerencsejáték, announced the launch of its sports betting website – www.tippmixpro.hu – on Tuesday. Italy’s GTECH G2 wound up development and delivered the site to Szerencsejáték in December and test operation started soon thereafter. Szerencsejáték said the site was scheduled to launch last summer already, but GTECH G2 failed to meet the delivery date in the contract and had to pay an indemnity of more than HUF 106 million. Taking into consideration the indemnity, the cost of developing the site and operating it for six years comes to HUF 422 million.
