A draft agreement that has already been approved by the government and employers, and conditionally approved by unions, would raise the minimum wage by 3.5% and overall wages by 3-4%. If the sides fail to reach an agreement, the government will unilaterally announce next year’s minimum wage and no recommendation on overall wage increases will be made.
The draft agreement would raise the minimum wage for unskilled labourers by HUF 3,500 to HUF 105,000 and the minimum wage for skilled workers by HUF 4,000 to HUF 122,000.
