According to the original schedule, National Motorway Management Agency (ÁAK) was due to sign the contract with E-toll tender winner Getronics on Wednesday, but business daily Napi Gazdaság reported on Friday that the contract is still under debate. According to the paper, the winner requested time before proceeding with the deal. Runner up T-Systems said it found dubious whether Getronics could fulfill its proposal at the submitted price, and the paper speculates that the new situation could result in a new winner of the tender. The value of Getronics’s proposal was HUF 34,9 billion, while T-Systems’ offer was HUF 53 billion.
