BUX advances with European peers

The Budapest Stock Exchangeʼs main BUX index finished up 0.36% at 25,345.77 on Wednesday after gaining 1.38% on Tuesday. After a weak start, the BUX index spent most of the session in positive territory.

OTP gained 0.44% to HUF 6,631 on turnover of HUF 7.56 bln from a HUF 13.11 bln session total.

MOL was flat at HUF 15,500 on turnover of HUF 2.43 bln.

Magyar Telekom lost 0.90% to HUF 440 on turnover of HUF 0.93 bln.

Richter was up 1.22% at HUF 5,374 on turnover of HUF 2.11 bln.

The bourseʼs mid-cap BUMIX finished 0.45% lower at 1,728.09.

Elsewhere in the region, the WIG-20 in Warsaw was up 0.11% while Pragueʼs PX index lost 0.65%.

Western Europeʼs major indices were up ahead of the end of trading. The FTSE100 in London gained 0.23%, the CAC40 in Paris was up 0.34% and the DAX30 in Frankfurt rose 0.21%.
