Hankó also highlighted a 48% increase in international journal publications by Hungarian researchers over three years, and a nearly two-thirds rise in income from industrial partnerships.

Patent filings at Hungarian universities have multiplied sevenfold in five years.

Enrollment has surged by more than 90,000 in the past three years, and more graduates are securing employment near their alma maters.

The number of foreign students in Hungary has also grown by 20% over the same period.
