Digitization of Domestic Business Below EU Average

The digitization level of the domestic business sphere is behind the EU average, but in terms of the region, the Hungarian indicators are the best, according to economic researcher GKI Gazdaságkutató Zrt. in its analysis of companies' digital preparedness.

According to the summary, corporate management systems facilitate the flow of information within the company, improve data quality, and contribute to the efficient operation of companies.

Such digitization solutions are used by 35% of Hungarian companies, compared to 43% in the EU.

Some 32% of companies in the EU use at least two platforms supporting social access, only 17% of Hungarian companies.

When it comes to the use of cloud-based services, Hungarian companies are only two percentage points behind the EU average of 39%.
