These containers were transported using just six trucks, compared to the 26 trucks needed for the same number of traditional rigid-frame containers, the company tells the Budapest Business Journal.
Continest’s CN Retail units designed for this summer’s events continue to provide versatile modular combinations. Their interior side walls feature a unique slatwall design, allowing for a quick, screw-free setup of sales displays. Additionally, the new CN Retail containers include a long fold-down counter with a lowered section, making it accessible and convenient for wheelchair users.
Dániel Tegzes, strategic director of Continest, was on site during the installation of Continest units provided for Arena Group. Reflecting on his experience in Paris, he noted that the eco-friendly design of these quick-install containers embodies Continest’s commitment to sustainability, aligning with the Paris Olympics’ goals.
The containers notably reduce environmental impact during installation and transport, offering genuine green solutions, he argued.
Tegzes also highlighted the containers’ proven utility in various humanitarian efforts worldwide, including temporary housing for Maui fire victims and support during the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
