The output of both main groups of construction rose, with the construction of buildings by 4.3% and that of civil engineering works by 16.3%.
The growth in the construction civil engineering works was related to public utility projects around the country, as well as road construction and railway reconstruction.
In the first four months of this year construction output expanded by 9.7%, compared with the same period last year. However, based on seasonally and working day adjusted indices, construction output decreased by 1.2% in April 2015
