According to unadjusted figures, January output was up 14.1% year-on-year. Output of the biggest building industry branch, finished structures and civil engineering, increased 18.7% year-on-year. Output of the finished construction branch was up 39% from January 2005, and output of the building installation branch decreased 1.8%.
Hungarian construction industry output expanded 16.6% in 2005 after a 5.8% rise in 2004.
