Évosz said the survey results show that 18% of companies expect revenue to remain flat, while 36% expect a decline in turnover.
Looking ahead to 2023, 14% of companies expect revenue to climb, and 59% see falling turnover. About 64% of the companies put the shortage of skilled labor among the challenges faced by the sector, while 55% said the weaker forint was a problem.
Construction companies had some HUF 600 billion of receivables at the end of August, close to 9% of their revenue.
