The number was little changed from February.
The data show 3,383 Hungarians registered as jobseekers for the first time during the month. The total number of new jobseeker registrations, including repeat registrations, reached 34,783.
Around 43% of registered jobseekers received no benefits in March.
About 34% of them had been seeking work for longer than a year.
Jobseekers were registered for 475 days on average.
