According to the National Employment Service (NFSz) data, 224,000 people were registered as jobseekers, the second-best figure in the last three decades.
Czomba pointed out that, compared to July of the previous year, the number of registered jobseekers had decreased by more than 3,000, which indicates a continuous improvement in the domestic employment situation.
In one year, the activity of the domestic labor market increased by 44,000 compared to the second quarter of 2023.
The number of economically active women increased by 39,000 and the number of men by 5,000, Czomba said.
