In a post on the bank's Facebook page presenting the results of the research, Erste's HR manager Krisztina Mihók said that there was a demand for greater flexibility on the part of the employees even before COVID-19, which had only been strengthened by the pandemic.
The survey also revealed that the majority liked the home office opportunities they experienced during the coronavirus epidemic, which became necessary in many workplaces.
Some 92% of those who completed Erste's questionnaire said that they could work from home at their current workplace, and another 5% answered that they think home office could be solved in their job, but their employer does not allow it.
Another 61% of the respondents who have or feel that they have the possibility to work from home said that allowing it is a basic requirement, while 32% think it is very important.
