Hungarian low-fare airline Wizz Air on Tuesday said it carried more than 12m passengers in 2012, 12% more than in the previous year. Average load factor on Wizz Air flights was over 85% last year. Passenger numbers on Hungary flights rose 30% to 1.77m. This year, Wizz Air expects overall passenger numbers to climb to 13.5m. Wizz Air’s fleet of 39 Airbus A320 aircraft fly more than 250 routes to 83 destinations in 29 countries. The airline employs 1,500 people.
