Bahart, which operates ferry and pleasure boat service on Lake Balaton, expects to put two new ferries it is outfitting into service in December, the state-owned company said on Tuesday, news agency MTI writes.

Two new catamarans Bahart is also outfitting will be ready for passengers by March of next year.

The four vessels arrived at Bahart's base in Siofok, on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, in July.

The engines of the new watercraft comply with EU Stage V emissions standards.
