The decision follows revisions to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s conflict-zone recommendations and the airline’s own operational and safety assessments.
Wizz Air said it would continue monitoring developments and coordinating with the relevant authorities, with flights remaining subject to ongoing safety reviews.
Across its network, the airline plans to gradually restore 12 routes to Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia during the winter season, operating 49 flights a week.
The services will offer 470,000 seats from nine European cities.
Alongside the Budapest routes, connections to the UAE will resume from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Poland, and Romania in October, while flights between Italy and Saudi Arabia restart in September.
