Every European country sets clocks on October 28 at 3:00 a.m. back to 2:00 a.m. Most of the people consider this event as a great opportunity to have an extra hour to rest. But for those who would need to travel, setting clocks back does not usually effect schedules of trains, buses or flights, unless their departure time was scheduled around 3 a.m. (e.g. International trains). This case, passengers would have to wait for maximum an hour for departure.
BKV’s (Budapest transport company) services will also be varied for the time-change, as between 2-3 a.m. their vehicles will leave keeping both, summer and winter schedule too. It is advisory for all passengers planning to travel around these hours early Sunday morning, to double-check with the transportation company whether there has or hasn’t been any changes in the schedule of their chosen route.
