Stores need to close at noon on December 24 Thursday, and cannot open on December 25 and 26 due to the holiday, nor on 27 due to that being Sunday. This means that citizens need to plan their shopping for four days, the National Commercial Association warned Hungarian citizens.
Stores that are allowed to stay open include gas stations, pharmacies, airport stores and stores smaller than 200 sqms if the owner of family runs the operations, origo.hu reported.
